About Gdańsk

Gdańsk is Poland's sixth-largest city and its major seaport, located on the Baltic coast of northern Poland. The city lies at the mouth of the Motława River at the southern edge of Gdańsk Bay, forming part of the Tricity metropolitan area alongside Gdynia and Sopot, with a combined population of approximately 1.5 million.

What to see and do

The port puts you within easy reach of Gdańsk's most celebrated attractions. Neptune's Fountain, a striking sculpture, and Long Market, a popular tourist spot, are both virtually on your doorstep. The Golden Gate and Golden House are short walks away, as are St. Mary's Gate and the Bread Bridge, known as the Bridge of Love. Families may enjoy the Gdańsk Carousel or Tower of Secrets Amusement Centre, both less than a kilometre from the port.

Gdańsk is best visited between May and September. The city is well-connected to other Baltic cruise destinations including Copenhagen, Helsinki, Kiel, and Klaipėda.
