Editorial policy
Forever Cruises is a directory, not a magazine. Everything on it is either a live fact from a partner's feed or a fact from a named public source, and this page explains where each kind comes from.
Deals
Deal pages are built from the partner's product feed (title, dates, price, cabin, itinerary, the partner's own photograph and summary) and from the partner's cruise page, which we re-read every night to check the sailing is still on sale and what price it shows. We do not rewrite partner prices. If the feed and the page disagree, the page wins and the deal says when it was last checked.
Ports, ships and destinations
Facts about ships and cruise lines come from Wikidata and are checked against the operator's published figures; where a source is wrong we keep a dated correction. Port and destination facts, photographs and things to do come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons (under their open licences, credited on each image) and from Google Places (ratings, opening hours and reviews belong to Google and are shown as such).
Written copy
Descriptions and guides are drafted with the help of an AI model from a data pack of the facts above, then checked automatically: a draft is rejected if it states a number that is not in the pack, makes a claim we cannot source, or uses words such as “guaranteed”, “award-winning” or “cheapest”. Counts that change nightly (how many deals, how many ships) are never written into copy; the pages show the live figure.
What we do not do
- No paid placements, sponsored rankings or partner-written reviews.
- No invented authors, credentials or testimonials.
- No price “guarantees”: prices and availability are confirmed by the partner when you book.
Corrections
If a fact on the site is wrong, tell us and we will correct the source data so the fix survives the nightly rebuild. See how we make money for the commercial side.
