About Victoria
Victoria is the capital and largest city of Seychelles, situated on the north-eastern side of Mahé, the archipelago's main island. The city was first established as the seat of the British colonial government. The port is known as Port Victoria and serves as a call port for cruise itineraries across the Indian Ocean region.
The Central region, comprising nine administrative districts within and around the capital, accounted for 30,145 residents (~30%) of the country's total population of 102,612.
