About Le Port
Le Port is a commune at the extreme northwest corner of Réunion, a French overseas department in the Indian Ocean. The town hosts the main harbour of the island and serves as Réunion's primary industrial and logistics centre. With a population of 33,969, Le Port's port facilities support most of the island's maritime freight traffic and are surrounded by industrial and commercial zones that play a significant role in the local economy.
