About Kuala Lumpur

Port Klang is the principal port of Malaysia on the Strait of Malacca and the largest in the country. Originally known as Port Swettenham during colonial times, it was renamed Port Klang in July 1972. The port lies approximately 38 kilometres southwest of Kuala Lumpur, making it an ideal base for exploring the region's cultural and natural attractions.
